John Larocchia is a member of the FDNY's Elite Hazardous Materials Company 1, a dad of three great kids, and a comedian.
HazMat and Squad 288 are housed together in Maspeth Queens. On September 11, 2001, they lost 19 members—including John's best friend, firefighter Tom Gardner.
